Fake Weights Exposed

You know, maybe I am a little salty. I did the right thing. I let the competition judges tell me my lifts were up to standard. I let my peers set the bar of competition. I worked fucking hard to become an elite lifter. Any business, attention, or recognition I have received from that has been from doing things the right way.

This fake weight thing feels like I have had my life savings robbed from me. This is all it takes to have the world believe you are strong? I would like to stay stoic about this and keep my chin up. I would also be lying to you if I acted like I didn’t have some disappointment. What it meant to be strong in my mind was so much more than the weight you lift. It was a representative of the person you have to be to achieve that goal. You became part of a tribe if you are capable to lift at the elite level. Body follows mind. And plenty of weak minds are now fake members of this elite tribe.

The only thing it seems to keep you legitimate in this generation as a lifter is competing in sanctioned competition. The days of gym glory are now nothing but a foggy haze of skepticism. Maybe I am being too sensitive about all of this lol. I find it hard to not let it bother me when I know anyone in the world of the interwebz can be stronger than me overnight with a few extra dollars.

Anyways, here are some links to a few vendors of fake weights. This shit is no joke lol. You too can be Big Ray Williams over night!
